Feature Story
A Major Roller Coaster for Miners
Looking for a ride your whole family can enjoy together? We think we found it!
We recently got invited to Silver Dollar City to hear about Miner’s Mountain Express, a new family coaster inspired by the real Ozarks history surrounding Marvel Cave. Kids 39 inches or taller can ride
This is part of a big overhaul that Silver Dollar City is making, and one of its goals is making it more fun for the whole family. With a minimum height of 39 inches (when riding with a companion age 14 or older), the ride is intended to be an adventure multiple generations can enjoy together, and never goes upside down.
The new ride is set to open in Spring 2027.

Where Checkups Turn Into An Adventure

Pediatric Dental Associates & Orthodontics
If your kid dreads the dentist, Pediatric Dental Associates & Orthodontics built their entire office to change that.
Their waiting rooms are designed like a playground, complete with video games and activities, so the checkup that usually gets a groan turns into the part of the day kids look forward to.
With locations in Fayetteville and Bentonville, PDAO handles pediatric dentistry and orthodontics under one roof, so cleanings, X-rays and braces consults don't mean juggling two different offices. Their team has a big heart for scared kids and nervous parents, and it shows in the little things, from a play-based check-in to a prize at checkout. Every kid is welcome, including those with special needs, so no family gets left figuring it out alone.
Next time a cleaning's on the calendar, here's a dentist visit your kids might actually look forward to.
