When Ozark United FC was founded, the vision extended beyond professional soccer. The goal was to create something that could bring Northwest Arkansas together. Through youth development initiatives, community programming, partnerships with local organizations, and efforts to expand access to the game, Ozark United FC is helping build a soccer culture that reflects the energy and growth of our region.

That momentum was on display this summer when hundreds of residents gathered at Fayetteville's Upper Ramble Park for a FIFA World Cup 2026™ watch party as part of Global Game Fest, a worldwide initiative celebrating the world's most popular sport. Families, friends, and fans of all ages came together to share an experience that felt uniquely Northwest Arkansas while connecting our community to a global event.

The success of the event reinforced something Ozark United FC has believed from the beginning: people are looking for opportunities to connect. Soccer provides a natural way to do that. It transcends age, language, and background. Whether someone has played the game for decades or is experiencing it for the first time, there is a place for them in the soccer community.

As Ozark United FC continues working toward bringing professional men's and women's soccer to Northwest Arkansas, the organization remains focused on creating opportunities that extend beyond matchday. The club's commitment to youth development, community engagement, and regional pride reflects a belief that sports can serve as a catalyst for stronger communities. That spirit will continue on July 19 when Ozark United FC hosts another Global Game Fest watch party for the FIFA World Cup Final. More importantly, it will continue in neighborhoods, parks, schools, and soccer fields across the region long after the final whistle.

Professional soccer may be the destination, but community has always been the mission. Every clinic, partnership, watch party, and player development opportunity is another step toward building something that belongs to Northwest Arkansas.

And if the response from the community so far is any indication, that future is already taking shape.
