Eleven years ago, the Scott Family Amazeum opened its doors in Bentonville with a simple belief: kids learn best when they're curious, engaged, and free to explore. That belief has since turned into something enormous!

Nearly 2.1 million guests served, 260,000 students welcomed on field trips, and more "ah-ha moments" than anyone could count.

This year's birthday brought a block party full of STEAM-themed play, and there's more on the horizon.

Construction is underway on a major expansion that will add the Early Learning Advancement Center, The Hangout + The Porch, and The Backyard — new indoor and outdoor space designed for kids ages 0–6, opening late 2026. The Amazeum has also taken its mission on the road, opening Wonder Wing, a new interactive family space inside XNA that turns layovers into playtime.

Eleven years in, the Amazeum's greatest trick might be making learning feel like anything but. Here's to eleven more! 🥳

🐕‍🦺 From Stone Fox to the Iditarod: A decade ago, teacher Amy Laymon read Stone Fox to her third-graders and sparked a classroom obsession with sled dog racing. This year, she finally made it to Alaska herself, watching the Iditarod start in Anchorage and bringing the adventure home to her students. Read her story HERE.
