Last weekend, Peekaboo attended NWA Book Fest where we helped moderate a panel conversation with local authors and artists.

My daughter picked up a neat graphic novel (pictured above) called What Follows is True: Crescent Hotel, detailing the haunted history of the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, written and illustrated by local author and professor Sean Fitzgibbon.

The list has a little something for everyone: from Ayana Gray’s gilded-age fantasy Hawk & Sparrow to Jo Salazar’s zombie-apocalypse adventure If We Survive the Night.

Poetry lovers can explore the life and work of Frank Stanford, while grown-up readers can dive into the gothic romance of Bloodworth & Grave.
